Group Reporting Manager
Supporting our long-standing, FTSE-listed client in the real estate investment industry with their search for a new Group Reporting Manager to join their team in Central London. Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting, this is a key role where you will lead the Group reporting function and take ownership of the consolidation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the Group Reporting team of five accountants, while contributing to wider leadership across the Finance department.
- Group Consolidation: Own the half-yearly Group consolidation process, including reporting and analysis of key financial ratios and performance metrics.
- External Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes for the Annual Report and half-yearly report.
- Quarterly Reporting: Partner with senior Finance colleagues to deliver quarterly management reporting, including Underlying Profit.
- Audit Management: Act as a key contact for external audit managers, ensuring queries and issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Corporate Transactions: Collaborate with Tax, Treasury and Capital Markets teams on corporate transactions and restructurings.
- Technical Accounting: Resolve complex accounting matters, preparing and presenting technical accounting papers where required.
- Statutory Accounts: Take a leading role in the end-to-end preparation of the Group’s statutory accounts, excluding joint ventures, using a structured, proactive approach to working with external auditors.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver financial analysis and one-off projects to strengthen management’s understanding of the business and support informed decision-making.

- ACA qualified (3-5 years PQE)
- Experience in a big 4 or top 6 practice
- Experience in an industry role at a large listed or private environment
- Technically strong
- High level of communicative and collaborative ability
