Group Reporting Manager
A Group Reporting Manager role within a fast-growing, PE-backed international business, offering exposure to group consolidation, international entities, acquisitions and senior stakeholders. Ideal for a qualified accountant looking to step out of practice or progress in industry, with genuine scope to help shape the finance function as the business continues to grow.
Client Details
My client are a PE backed, B2B, international organisation, working with a broad range of sectors and have market share within their specialism.
Turning over approximately £10 million per year, the business is embracing technology and AI to enable growth and continue to deliver increasingly sophisticated solutions for their customers. Since receiving PE investment in 2022, the business has pursued an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, completing multiple acquisitions across Europe and with further growth planned.

Description
As number 2 in finance, you'll play a key role in strengthening the Group Finance function and ensuring the numbers across the international business are accurate, robust and well controlled.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the Group consolidation across all entities
- Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts and ensuring a timely and accurate close
- Taking ownership of the year-end audit and working closely with external auditors
- Managing a small team of PL, SL and a Management Accountant
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group reporting structure
Profile
They're looking for someone with a strong technical grounding, the ability to work collaboratively and the ambition to take ownership.

You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA qualification, gained in a practice environment
- Experience with group reporting and consolidation
- A good understanding of statutory accounts and audit
- Experience leading a small team of transactional finance colleagues
- Ideally some exposure to a PE-backed or acquisitive environment
- The confidence to work across multiple international entities
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to understand and interrogate data

Job Offer
- Competitive salary up to £65,000
- Hybrid working with 4 days per home & 1 day in office in South Manchester
