Job Description

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa. In line with the requirements set by the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

Full Time Contract, Permanent, 5 days per week. Expected Start Date: Mid-November 2026 (TBC), salary £30,318.60 per year.

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Reservations Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing individual and group hotel reservations, ensuring all guest enquiries are handled professionally, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences by providing excellent customer service, coordinating booking requirements, and resolving any guest concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for individual and group reservations
  • This also includes the management of group blocks relating to inventory, payment and group setup
  • Handle enquiries for individual and group bookings via email or phone during the shift, communicate immediately, and provide a reply or confirmation within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Handle any other department issues related to individual reservations (follow up on prepayment, routing, vouchers…)
  • Preparation of group information sheets (group movements) and briefing of all involved prior to arrival of group.
  • Manage payments, cancellations, rooming lists and terms and conditions.
  • Maintains a precise filing system for all Group reservations and correspondence.
  • Performs all reservations duties including making and entering reservations as required including TBRs
  • Handle guest complaints and enquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Ensures a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests or other reservation-related matters.
  • Ensure Accor brand and company standards are implemented and updated.
  • Ensure security and safety procedures are updated and implemented.
  • Promotes positive working environment by developing positive team spirit.

Customer Relations

  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests, making all guests experience positive.
  • Take a positive problem solving approach with guest problems and concerns, call the Manager on Duty if difficulties arise.
  • Actively sell and promote, hotel facilities and services.

  • Clear oral/written communication
  • Exemplary time management and organizational skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferable not necessary.
