Location: City, London
Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000 / year

Description

We are a team of Chartered Independent Financial Planners and Employee Benefits Consultants. MKS Financial Planning continues to grow and is now nearly 50 strong. We’re proud of the collaborative, values-driven culture we’ve built through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

We are committed to delivering a professional, high-quality service to all of our clients, and building strong, lasting relationships based on trust and expertise. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where colleagues are encouraged to share knowledge, support one another and work together to achieve both individual and team goals.

We are looking for a Group Risk Administrator to join the team, providing administrative support to our Corporate Employee Benefits Consultants. You will play an important role in the ongoing servicing of existing clients and the implementation of new business, helping to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for new and existing group risk and healthcare schemes, including new business implementation, processing joiners and leavers, handling client and claims queries, and keeping clients and consultants informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Administer group risk, private medical insurance and other employee benefit schemes, including preparing and issuing policy documentation, managing renewals and market reviews, and ensuring service, quality and turnaround standards are met.
  • Liaise with insurers and providers to obtain information, progress client requests and ensure timely completion of scheme administration activities.
  • Coordinate client meetings and complete all follow-up actions, liaising with clients, insurers and providers as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining templates and workflows, improving processes and documentation, and contributing to quality control measures.
  • Maintain accurate client records, compliance documentation and internal systems, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and maintained in line with regulatory and business requirements, with a clear audit trail for all client records.
  • Provide new business quotations for group risk and healthcare schemes.
  • Draft proposition documents, reports and presentations for consultants.
  • Issue invoices and updates to clients.
  • Dealing with fee and commission enquiries.
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with FCA requirements, internal policies and procedures, and the firm's commitment to Treating Customers Fairly principles.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, colleagues and teams across the business to support client service delivery and contribute to the efficient running of the department.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge of group risk, healthcare and wider employee benefits products, providers and market developments through ongoing professional development and completion of mandatory training.
  • Provide general office support, including handling telephone enquiries, coordinating client visits and meetings, and managing incoming and outgoing post.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
