Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, manage and develop the UK and Ireland sales team from the Newry office.
- Set clear expectations for sales activity, pipeline development, follow-up and conversion.
- Hold regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews and sales meetings with team members.
- Coach and support the team on prospecting, account development, presentations, quotations and closing opportunities.
- Support the onboarding and development of new sales hires.
- Help create consistency in CRM usage, territory planning and sales process discipline across the team.

Forecasting, Reporting and Commercial Control
- Maintain clear visibility of pipeline, opportunities, forecasts and risks across the UK and Ireland sales team.
- Report at least weekly to management on sales activity, forecast position, opportunities, issues and priorities.
- Ensure CRM records, follow-up activity and reporting standards are maintained properly.
- Help shape account ownership, territory structure and focus areas across the team.
- Identify gaps, opportunities and areas where performance or process can be improved.
Direct Sales and Business Development
- Personally support selected key accounts, distributors and major commercial opportunities.
- Carry out customer visits, distributor meetings, exhibitions and strategic commercial meetings across the UK and Ireland as required.
- Help win and progress larger or more complex opportunities.
- Support route-to-market growth through distributors, contractors, consultants, end users and partner channels.
- Remain commercially active and close enough to the market to lead the team credibly.
Internal Coordination and Senior Support
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic sales direction, market development and major opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing, customer service, operations and technical teams to improve conversion, handover and customer experience.
- Feed back market trends, competitor activity, customer needs and product opportunities to the wider business.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales team.
- Strong business development and account growth background.
- Comfortable with both sales management and hands-on direct selling.
- Experience working with distributors, trade channels, contractors, consultants or similar partner-led routes to market.
- Strong CRM, pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Able to work in a practical, fast-moving SME environment.
- Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Full and clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
