Location: Blandford, Dorset

Reports To: Group Sales Manager

Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative support to the Group Sales Manager and the sales department. This role will focus heavily on Wholegood stock management from order planning, through stock control to customer delivery. Generation of dealsheets, retail finance quotes, liaison with Warranty & After Sales for the provision of timely Service contract and extended warranty quotations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales office support and point of contact for major suppliers
  • Assist sales teams in preparing dealsheets and customer quotations
  • Processing customer sales orders
  • Administer new product orders and monitor deliveries
  • Provide sales team with up to date stock information
  • Chasing machinery orders with manufacturer
  • Manage the processing of sales department purchase invoices and manufacturer credit notes and bonuses
  • Coordinate planned Wholegood stock audits
  • Data analysis and preparation of reports for Group Sales Manager
  • Work closely with Marketing on all Sales & Marketing activity
  • Management of used equipment and provide regular reporting

At times the post-holder will be expected to perform duties outside of this job description in order to ensure the maintenance of a high level service to our customers.

Person Specification

  • Highly motivated, good communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills and administrative ability
  • Familiarity with CRM practices
  • Good level of numeracy and knowledge of retail finance
  • Prioritisation, time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Able to deliver high levels of customer service
