Join the Go‑To‑Market Team at Microlise!

Microlise is entering an exciting phase of growth, and we're looking for an exceptional Group Sales Director to lead our global direct sales organisation and help shape the future of our commercial success. This is a pivotal leadership role for an accomplished sales professional who thrives on driving revenue growth, developing high-performing teams, and creating alignment across multiple regions and markets. If you're passionate about building winning sales cultures, delivering predictable results, and transforming strategy into execution, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Why this role matters

The Group Sales Director is the link between Microlise's global ambition and regional execution. Leading all direct sales functions across our SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments, you'll unite regional sales teams under a single vision, methodology, and operating rhythm. You'll establish one standard for how we sell, forecast, qualify opportunities, and deliver value to customers.

This role is about more than hitting targets. It's about creating a globally consistent, disciplined, and high-performing go-to-market motion where accountability, ownership, and sales excellence are embedded into the culture of every sales leader and salesperson across the business.

You'll play a critical role in driving sustainable ARR growth, improving forecast accuracy, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring every region is aligned behind a shared commercial strategy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and aligning regional sales teams around shared revenue goals and the MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Translating company growth objectives into actionable regional plans, quota models, and sales strategies
  • Partnering closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Value Creation & Enablement to deliver a fully aligned go-to-market engine
  • Driving new business acquisition, customer expansion, and cross-sell opportunities across the Microlise portfolio
  • Owning global revenue performance, forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and sales execution
  • Maintaining strong pipeline coverage and ensuring consistent deal qualification through disciplined MEDDPICC adoption
  • Leading deal reviews to maximise conversion and support successful outcomes on strategic opportunities
  • Coaching and developing regional sales leaders to operate as one high-performing leadership team
  • Building a culture of accountability, transparency, recognition, and continuous development through initiatives such as the Sales League and Sales & Marketing Academy
  • Driving excellence in CRM discipline, forecasting processes, sales governance, and commercial risk management
  • Standardising sales stages, metrics, reporting, and performance definitions across all regions
  • Representing Microlise with key enterprise customers, strategic prospects, and senior stakeholders
  • Providing market and customer insight to support product positioning, competitive strategy, and future growth opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
