The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Group Senior HR Business Partner to act as a trusted adviser on senior Employee Relations matters while helping our CPO drive organisational people strategy across our global workforce.
This is not a conventional HRBP role. It sits close to the centre of the business, partnering senior leaders and C-Suite peers - including the CFO, COO, Group Counsel and commercial leadership-on sensitive people issues, organisational risk and business change. You will be a key voice on senior ER, policy and people risk, bringing the credibility to influence at the highest levels of the organisation and challenge constructively when needed.
Alongside the ER core, this role also gives you real breadth: organisational people strategy, HR projects, policy development, reward support and global collaboration. You will use people data and HR KPIs to identify trends, translate insight into action and support senior management and Board-level decision-making.
In a PE-backed business, pace, resilience and judgement matter. This role is for someone who can think strategically, act decisively and help leaders navigate complexity well.
Who This Could Suit
This role could suit someone currently operating in:
- A Senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership role where you advise and influence at C-Suite level without hesitation
- A broad HR generalist position within an operational, commercial or fast-paced environment
- An organisation where you have supported senior stakeholders through high-risk, sensitive or complex people issues
- A matrix, international or multi-country business where collaboration across functions is essential

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
