Job Summary:
The provision of tax services for a portfolio of fiduciary clients which will include the completion of Income and corporation tax returns, and responding to tax queries.
Job Accountabilities:
- The preparation of tax reporting in the Crown Dependencies and UK as required for trusts and companies
- Drafting communications with tax authorities and group teams regarding tax payments and returns
- Updating and maintaining tasks and compliance spreadsheets
- Preparation of tax review of accounts to aid identification of key tax risks
- Working with management to assist in completion of tasks for a key portfolio of clients
- Develop relationships within wider office teams
- Preparation of correspondence with settlors and beneficiaries regarding their tax reporting requirements
- Liaison with other departments within the group, and draft responses to tax queries from trust administrators
- Liaison with clients, as required
- Partake in delivery of training sessions for the team and wider group, under supervision of more senior members of the team.
- To train and assist junior colleagues with queries/problems
- Raising discrepancies in process and flagging with management/arranging required update

Minimum Education and Experience
- Educated to a minimum of A level standard, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Part qualified preferred, but working toward relevant qualification
Required Skills
- Good communication skills
- Good numeracy and computer skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude together with the ability to work to deadlines
- Good team player
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
