The Company:
Candy Capital is the private family office of Nick Candy, a renowned British real estate developer, investor, and entrepreneur. The office oversees and manages Nick Candy's diverse portfolio of personal business interests and companies, spanning global real estate development and investment, luxury design, hospitality, innovative technology ventures, natural resources, and involvement in political and public affairs.
Position Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for end-to-end social media management and strategy for multiple Candy group companies and projects. This includes managing the planning, creation, curation, and implementation of all content across all social platforms. The Social Media Manager will work alongside the in-house marketing team and in some cases with external agencies and will be the go-to contact across the business for all things social.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with relevant in-house stakeholders and external agency partners to develop the overarching social media content strategies and campaigns for the group’s social media channels, in line with the overall business and marketing strategy.
- Lead content calendars and content scheduling for all channels.
- Hands-on content creation – able to independently conceptualise, shoot, create and edit high-quality social content, including short-form video/Reels, photography, graphics and written content, from initial idea through to final asset.
- Ensure all social assets and campaigns consistently reflect each brand's visual and written signature.
- Able to edit and re-size images and videos for different platforms.
- Community management – owning the day-to-day community management of group’s social media channels, including monitoring public/inbox comments, responding to followers, and issues escalation.
- Developing strategies to grow the group’s social channels.
- Monitoring the company’s brands and projects on social media.
- Managing and support social shopping efforts, ensuring any social shops deliver a superior experience to followers.
- Where appropriate, work with agencies to develop influencer engagement strategies.
- Develop content assets for paid social campaigns.
- Plan, create and schedule email marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media.
- Track and report on social media insights such as reach, engagement, and follower growth to inform future strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:
- 4+ years of previous experience at a brand or agency.
- A creative with strong copywriting, photography, and video editing skills.
- Experience developing social media strategies.
- Familiar with platforms such as Later.com, Sprout and Monday.com amongst others.
- Understanding of Paid Social Media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook and Google.
- Competent in Google Analytics.
- Competent computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office & Adobe Suite.
- Experience working with influencers.
- Understanding of graphic design principles.
- An understanding of or experience in the luxury or property sectors is helpful but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to respond to social mentions and comments in a timely manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Proactive and ability to self-manage and multi-task whilst working effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion.
