Role: Sustainability Advisor
Location: Stirling/Central belt
12 month Fixed Term Contract

We are a climate positive business, but we recognise that more needs to be done and have set out a clear roadmap moving forward with our Responsible Business 2030 strategy.
This new role will support our Group Sustainability & Social Impact function to further develop our ESG approach.
- Support the continued implementation of our Responsible Business 2030 strategy through identification and development of value creation opportunities (e.g. decarbonisation, circular economy)
- Act as business SmartWaste (our sustainability / environmental reporting system) key contact, providing operational support for projects & SmartWaste Champions
- Help drive supply chain ESG development, including co-ordination of:
- Carbon Footprint+ (our preferred supplier carbon reporting) and offsetting programme
- SEPA Sustainable Growth Agreement programme
- Sustainable procurement forum
- Lead our EcoVadis accreditation, including for:
- Annual assessment and feedback analysis
- Development of action plan
- Collaborate with appropriate departments and team members to ensure an aligned approach
- Support project delivery and work winning through site visits, case studies and bid input

Qualifications, experience and skills
- Relevant degree / experience in sustainability, or related field
- Experience in related role, including:
- Data reporting and analysis
- Reviewing, identifying and developing action plans
- Content report development for internal and external audiences
- Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
- Professional membership of relevant organisation preferred
