With over 5,000 employees globally, we specialise in the research and development of innovative ingredients for the Life Science and Consumer Care markets.

We are focused on developing our inclusive culture through accountability, collaboration and innovation. By joining Croda, you will be part of a team who are using smart science to create a more sustainable future.

As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Group Systems and Reporting Accountant to be key in helping the team develop and improve systems and reporting processes and making sure these are as effective, robust and efficient as they can be. You will be required to work closely with different stakeholders, both finance and non-finance, from around the Group. The role will be responsible for helping us make improvements in our consolidated reporting as well as helping the local finance teams where appropriate, particularly in embedding any changes. You will assist with day-to-day areas where appropriate, but will be primarily focussed on ongoing and varied changes and improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to prioritise your own workload to ensure key deadlines are met.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This will help you to build good working relationships.
  • Ability to influence and effectively work and collaborate with cross-functional, international teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have passion, enthusiasm, optimistic working attitude, good global team spirit, and be self-motivated.
  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • You should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other equivalent professional qualification), or have significant experience in a comparable role.
  • Experience maintaining a financial reporting system/database is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working within a global, multi-currency group finance team is desirable but not essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
