Group Tax Analyst – Temporary Assignment (3–6 Months)

Location: Winnersh – Hybrid

Working pattern: 2 days in the office, 3 days remotely

Start: Immediate / ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Group Tax Analyst to join a high-performing Group Finance function on a temporary assignment lasting between 3 and 6 months. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent exposure across UK and European corporate taxation. Working closely with the Group Head of Tax and senior Finance stakeholders, you will take responsibility for key reporting, compliance, and forecasting activities while supporting a range of international tax and transformation projects.

This would suit someone who is technically strong, commercially minded, and comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing UK corporate tax returns and managing associated compliance
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax reporting
  • Preparing tax disclosures for statutory accounts
  • Managing corporate tax budgets, forecasts, and quarterly instalment payments
  • Supporting transfer pricing projects and documentation
  • Undertaking CFC analysis and coordinating Country-by-Country Reporting
  • Preparing Employment Related Securities returns
  • Supporting US quarterly tax reporting
  • Partnering with Finance teams across the UK and Europe
  • Advising on international tax matters, acquisitions, and business transfers
  • Supporting wider transformation and ad hoc tax projects
  • Building broader exposure across VAT and employment taxes

Ideal Candidate

  • A CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Strong UK corporation tax compliance and reporting experience
  • Previous in-house experience
  • Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, and CFC matters
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • The confidence to work independently and manage competing deadlines
  • A proactive, collaborative, and commercially focused approach
