Pineapple Recruitment is partnered with an ambitious, fast-growing multi-entity group to recruit a Group Tax Manager to join their vibrant and awarding-winning company.
Reporting directly to the Group Tax Director, this high-profile role offers excellent exposure across the group’s UK and European operations. You will take ownership of UK corporate tax compliance, oversee indirect tax (VAT) matters across European entities, and provide critical technical tax support on key commercial business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance & Delivery: Manage UK corporate tax compliance, reporting, and payments in line with group policy. Oversee European VAT returns, queries, and audits.
- Commercial Advisory: Prepare technical tax analysis and recommendations for the Group Tax Director regarding UK and EU operations. Support corporate transactions and business projects with direct tax guidance.
- Governance & Controls: Implement and operate the group tax control framework, maintain documentation for tax positions, and assist with transfer pricing processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main day-to-day tax contact for European finance teams and coordinate with external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
- Process Improvement: Assist with system developments and process standardization across the wider finance function.

Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified
- Experience: Ideally a minimum of 5 years of tax experience gained within practice, industry, or a combination of both. A retail or manufacturing background highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid grounding in UK corporate tax; experience with European VAT and multi-entity environments is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
