Group Tax Manager

This Group Tax Manager role focuses on overseeing the tax affairs of an industrial and manufacturing business. You'll handle compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning, ensuring the company operates efficiently and meets all regulations.

Description

  • Manage the group's tax compliance, including corporate tax returns and VAT filings.
  • Oversee tax reporting processes and ensure accurate submissions.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax planning and risk management.
  • Collaborate with external advisors on complex tax matters.
  • Support internal teams with ad-hoc tax queries and training.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Ensure transfer pricing policies are applied consistently across the group.
  • Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional tax or accounting qualification, such as CTA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience handling corporate tax and VAT compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and reporting standards.
  • The ability to manage complex tax planning and advisory projects.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external advisors.
  • An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
