Pure are excited to be partnered with a FTSE 100 who are searching for a Group Tax Reporting Manager to join its central tax function. This role sits within a small, high-performing team responsible for managing tax cost, risk, reporting, and compliance across the worldwide business. The position is based at the organisation’s UK head office.

Role Overview

You will lead the group’s tax consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant tax disclosures for statutory and management reporting. The role offers broad exposure across jurisdictions, senior stakeholders, and technical tax areas including compliance, forecasting, risk management, and emerging global tax frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Global Tax Consolidation & Reporting

  • Manage tax consolidation across ~25 countries for year-end and interim cycles
  • Oversee the group tax reporting model and reconciliation of tax charges
  • Review country tax packs and UK company provisions
  • Analyse tax balance sheet positions, including risk provisioning
  • Draft IFRS tax disclosures for group accounts
  • Support Investor Relations and CFO briefing materials

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Model the group’s future tax profile over a three-year horizon
  • Review budget submissions from major territories
  • Lead scenario analysis and cash tax forecasting

UK Tax Compliance & Governance

  • Review UK corporation tax computations and returns
  • Oversee UK tax payments and SAO reporting
  • Liaise with HMRC on risk assessments and enquiries

International Tax Reporting

  • Support CbCR reporting
  • Assist with Pillar Two safe harbour calculations and data requirements
  • Review tax impacts of business combinations and fair value adjustments

  • Work closely with treasury, finance, legal, and senior tax leaders
  • Act as key contact for external tax auditors

Experience & Qualifications

  • ACA or equivalent
  • Strong experience in multinational tax consolidations
  • Background in an in-house multinational tax team or large advisory firm
  • Excellent Excel capability and comfort with tax technology tools
  • Experience applying AI in tax reporting and compliance

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of multinational tax reporting processes
  • Strong analytical skills and risk awareness
  • Commercial mindset with ambition to innovate
  • Excellent communication skills, including senior stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Thorough knowledge of UK tax legislation and international accounting standards
  • Passion for introducing technology solutions into tax workflows
