Job Description
We are looking for a specialist Group Tax Reporting professional with deep, hands-on experience of managing the tax reporting cycle for a large, complex multinational group.
This is not a general tax manager role and it is not suited to someone whose experience is primarily in corporation tax compliance, tax advisory, audit or broader financial accounting.
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you will take ownership of Endava’s quarterly and annual Group tax reporting and forecasting cycle across its international operations.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in:
- Group consolidated tax reporting
- Quarterly and annual tax provision processes
- Effective tax rate analysis
- Current and deferred tax calculations
- Tax forecasting
- IAS 12 reporting
- Tax disclosures for Group accounts
- Working within a complex multinational reporting environment
Endava is a UK-headquartered, NYSE-listed technology services company operating under IFRS and within a SOX-controlled environment. The role offers substantial technical complexity, global exposure and direct interaction with senior Finance stakeholders and external auditors.
Alongside the core reporting cycle, you will also contribute to areas such as Pillar Two, M&A modelling, Country-by-Country Reporting and tax process transformation. However, the central purpose of the role is clear: to lead and continually improve Group tax reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the quarterly and annual Group tax reporting process across Endava’s international entities.
- Prepare and review consolidated current and deferred tax positions.
- Ensure accurate application of IAS 12 across the Group.
- Analyse and explain movements in the effective tax rate.
- Produce robust tax forecasts and scenario modelling.
- Review tax reporting submissions from local Finance and Tax teams.
- Identify inconsistencies, challenge assumptions and resolve complex reporting issues.
- Prepare and review tax disclosures for Group and statutory accounts.
- Act as the principal point of contact for external auditors on Group tax reporting matters.
- Partner closely with the Head of Tax, Group Finance, Controllership and local teams across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain strong controls and documentation within a SOX-compliant environment.
- Improve the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of tax reporting through standardisation and automation.
- Support tax modelling for acquisitions, restructuring and other strategic activity.
- Contribute to Pillar Two reporting, Country-by-Country Reporting and Total Tax Contribution analysis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
