Your new role:
As a Group Tax Specialist, you will support the delivery of UK and European tax compliance activities across a diverse portfolio of entities. Working closely with finance, commercial and management teams, you will take ownership of corporation tax and VAT compliance, assist with tax accounting and reporting requirements, and provide tax support on business projects and organisational change initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing corporation tax returns and computations
- Supporting year-end tax provisions and audits
- Managing VAT compliance processes
- Assisting with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) obligations
- Coordinating group-wide tax reporting requirements
- Collaborating with colleagues across Europe to support international tax compliance and business partnering activities

What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience within UK corporate tax, VAT, or a broader tax compliance environment gained either in practice or industry. You will possess strong analytical and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across a business.
You will ideally be:
- ATT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or studying towards a professional qualification
- Experienced with tax compliance, tax accounting, VAT returns, and working with large data sets in Excel
- Having exposure to SAP, Alphatax, or OneSource would be advantageous but is not essential
