Help shape the future of retrofit and decarbonisation across the UK

At LHC Procurement Group, we're improving lives and places through quality procurement solutions. As a not-for-profit organisation with a 60-year legacy, we work with public sector organisations across the UK to deliver better buildings, homes and communities.

We're now looking for a highly credible technical leader to drive our energy efficiency, decarbonisation and retrofit frameworks.

This is more than a technical role.

You'll be the subject matter expert behind the frameworks, standards and strategies that help public sector organisations tackle some of the UK's biggest built environment challenges. From shaping innovative procurement solutions to advising on funding opportunities and emerging legislation, you'll play a key role in influencing how sustainable buildings are delivered nationwide.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead the development and evolution of our energy efficiency and retrofit frameworks, ensuring they remain innovative, compliant and aligned with market needs

You'll Also

  • Provide strategic technical leadership on retrofit, decarbonisation and Net Zero initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues, clients and suppliers on energy performance and sustainability solutions
  • Monitor and interpret government funding opportunities, helping organisations maximise investment in retrofit and decarbonisation programmes
  • Represent LHC Procurement Group at industry events, conferences and working groups, strengthening our reputation as a leading voice in the sector
  • Support the development of technical specifications, performance standards and procurement criteria that deliver measurable outcomes for public sector clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
