Group Technical Support Manager

(Location: Hull-based with Regular Travel across UK sites)

We are looking for a Technical Support Manager to join our Group Technical team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role across multiple sites, providing technical leadership, supporting operational excellence, and helping maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance across the business. Acting as an interim Technical Manager where required, you'll work closely with site leadership teams, supporting audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring consistency in technical standards across our expanding UK operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing interim technical leadership across Cranswick sites during periods of change, increased demand or vacancies
  • Supporting food safety, quality and compliance standards across the business
  • Leading customer, retailer and third-party audits, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Coaching and developing site Technical teams to drive engagement and performance
  • Managing risk, troubleshooting technical challenges and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Supporting strategic projects, product launches and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with site leadership teams and Group Technical colleagues to drive consistency and best practice

Who We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Technical Management role within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of retailer standards, customer requirements and BRCGS compliance
  • HACCP and Food Hygiene qualifications (Level 4 desirable)
  • Experience leading audits and managing customer relationships
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Cranswick sites and work away from home when required
