Director of Treasury

Structured Finance | PE-Backed | Lean Team, Real Pace

London | Up to £195K basic + 25% bonus + up to 12% pension + benefits

Four days a week in the Central London office is essential

A PE-backed international group with a complex, multi-lender capital structure is hiring a Director of Treasury, reporting to the Group CFO. You will own the capital structure, fund an active bid and M&A pipeline, and build a treasury function that keeps pace with a business scaling quickly.

The role

  • Lead capital structure strategy, refinancing and debt issuance, including new funding routes such as private placements
  • Own the lender group end to end: covenants, reporting, waivers and amendments
  • Structure the funding, guarantees and bonding behind international bids, tenders and M&A
  • Carry the treasury story to the board, sponsors and rating agencies
  • Build the function: cash visibility, forecasting, banking rationalisation, TMS and controls, using automation where it genuinely adds value
  • Lead a small team effectively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
