Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our London OR Corby office.

The Opportunity
Group Treasury plays a critical role in safeguarding the Group’s cash, managing banking relationships, supporting strategic growth initiatives and ensuring effective funding across a global organisation. As a Treasury Analyst working within a team of approximately x6 colleagues you will support daily liquidity management and cash operations, helping to deliver accurate forecasting, effective cash pool management, timely settlements, insightful reporting and strong financial controls. Working across cash management, liquidity, funding, treasury systems and process improvement initiatives, you will gain broad treasury exposure while contributing to automation and technology-driven enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a well-rounded treasury skillset within a global FTSE-listed business, helping to optimise the Group’s cash position and support its ongoing financial resilience.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily
- Produce daily cash forecast variance analysis and work with business units to understand and reduce recurring variances.
- Manage daily liquidity and cash pool operations, including cash management swaps where required.
- Agree net settlement figure with banks in Finastra or via email prior to preparing payment files.
- Prepare payment files for approval and ensure successful transmission to banking platforms.
- Monitor short-term funding requirements across the Group and coordinate required funding activities.
- Review upcoming cash management needs and arrange intercompany or external deposits and borrowing where necessary.
- Provide end of day report providing commentary on; Bank reconciliation differences + Cash pool activity and liquidity positions.
Monthly
- Analyse Treasury data and provide insight into cash flow trends, liquidity performance, and operational improvements.
- Support liquidity management activities, including reducing excess cash balances and supporting trapped cash repatriation initiatives.
- Produce monthly cash pool reporting, including meaningful analysis and commentary on key movements and trends.

Ad-hoc
- Escalate significant transactions, control issues, or emerging risks to senior Treasury management.
- Support Treasury activities associated with acquisitions, divestments, and corporate restructuring projects.
- Cover for Operational Analyst
System Controls
- Use data and technology to improve efficiency, reporting quality, and control effectiveness.
- Support Treasury system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention through improved system utilisation, automation, and workflow optimisation.
- Champion process improvement and automation opportunities across Treasury operations.
- Assist with the implementation of new Treasury technologies and digital initiatives.
- Document Treasury procedures and promote best practice across the function.
What You’ll Bring
- Understanding of cash forecasting and liquidity management.
- Ability to analyse cash flow trends and forecast variances.
- Experience preparing reporting and insights for stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of control and compliance.
- Successful candidate will be expected to study towards Association of Corporate Treasurers exams.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within a multinational corporate treasury environment.
- Knowledge of cash pooling structures, intercompany funding, and liquidity optimisation techniques.
- Experience using Treasury Management Systems (TMS), particularly Finastra.
- Experience supporting treasury-related projects, acquisitions, divestments, or corporate restructuring activities.
- Knowledge of treasury controls, governance, and risk management practices.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, automation initiatives, or treasury technology enhancements.
- Working towards, or an interest in pursuing, a professional treasury or accounting qualification (ACT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
