The Opportunity

Our client is a UK-headquartered, Private Equity-backed insurance broking group with a rapidly expanding multinational footprint, built through a combination of organic growth and sustained M&A activity. The Group Treasury function acts as an in-house bank, providing liquidity and funding across the group's businesses.

Treasury is a small, close-knit team, so this is a genuinely hands-on role — while the primary focus is leading the TMS implementation, the successful candidate will flex across other treasury activities and projects as needed, covering colleagues where required.

This is a rare opportunity to own a live, multi-jurisdiction Kyriba rollout from the client side, with real influence over how the platform is configured and scaled across the group.

Reporting Line

  • Reports to: Group Treasurer
  • Direct reports: None
  • Key stakeholders: Group Financial Reporting, Platform/Divisional Finance Teams and Treasurers, Group Risk, Group FP&A, plus external relationships with the TMS implementation partner, relationship banks, and money market fund providers

Key Responsibilities

TMS Project Leadership

  • Act as in-house project manager for the Kyriba TMS implementation as functionality is rolled out across the group's various business units
  • Manage related project workstreams alongside dedicated platform leads on the set-up, onboarding and implementation of Kyriba modules across business divisions
  • Own the relationship with the Kyriba implementation team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to scope
  • Manage license allocation and user profiles, and provide training and in-house support to platform users
  • Distribute and review quarterly compliance representations from each business platform on TMS data integrity, tracking related compliance metrics
  • Lead the evaluation and business case for future Kyriba module rollouts, expanding treasury functionality over time
  • Support integration of the TMS with a group-wide Dynamics 365 ERP rollout, building a strong working relationship with the Financial Systems team
  • Lead bank onboarding onto the TMS — including scoping technical capability and designing onboarding plans per jurisdiction
  • Act as system administrator for Kyriba's Cash Management, Payments, Financial Transactions and Financial Accounting modules
  • Support connectivity between Kyriba and adjacent systems (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
