Our client is a leading multi-billion revenue international group with strong brand recognition across all of its markets. The business is backed by a leading global private equity firm which is supporting the continued growth of the group, both through organic business development and M&A. They are seeking to recruit a high-calibre Treasury & Tax Director, operating as a critical member of the Finance Leadership Team. This senior executive role reports directly to the Group CFO and owns the overarching strategy for global liquidity, capital structure, and multi-jurisdictional tax planning across multiple European countries.
Description
The successful candidate for this Group Treasury & Tax Director role will lead the group’s treasury strategy, directing all short and long term funding initiatives, including bank facilities, debt capital markets activity, leasing structures, and robust multi-currency cash pooling.

Additionally, the Director formulates the hedging frameworks necessary to manage substantial foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity exposures, whilst partnering with the Executive Board on heavy capital expenditure programmes. The role will also have full responsibility for the international tax strategy, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring while maintaining compliance with emerging European frameworks like Pillar Two and ATAD.
Skills
Candidates applying for this Group Treasury & Tax Director role should have a proven senior-level track record in both treasury and tax in a multi-jurisdictional organisation. Experience in a capital intensive sector will be an advantage, but is not seen as essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced, private equity driven organisation is essential, ideally evidenced through prior experience in a similar leveraged environment. You will have hands-on experience managing complex debt portfolios, major banking syndicates, and capital market transactions, preferably alongside experience with complex B2B contracts. A professional accountancy or treasury qualification is required, as are the leadership skills and gravitas to influence at board level.
