Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, you will join our Group Safety and wellbeing function as a wellbeing advisor. As a business we are committed to achieving zero injuries and ill health conditions whilst promoting positive wellbeing outcomes. This means delivering health, safety and wellbeing excellence consistently across our business.

You will work across Group and Regional teams within HR, Safety and the organisational business helping to maintain and improve the wellbeing framework so that we can better understand, manage and respond to the impact of psychosocial risks. This will involve translating data and evidence into practical actions that support employee wellbeing, business performance and develop a positive organisational culture.

This is a key role within a small team. We are looking for someone who can be agile, who understands and will work in line with Group priorities and who can build and maintain strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive a consistent approach to wellbeing and mental health across the business
  • Manage our mental health first aider networks
  • Manage future wellbeing surveys and reporting on progress
  • Manage the collation of data (internal and external) relating to wellbeing and mental health. This includes contributing to monthly reports and monitoring against Group commitments and KPIs
  • Support and advocate the use of the Group wellbeing resources
  • Promote effective communication and dissemination of wellbeing information
  • Attend the Group and Regional wellbeing calls and share best across the regions in wellbeing lead forums and/or wellbeing community forums
  • Review and update wellbeing plans on a regular basis, at least once a year
  • Set and monitor regional wellbeing objectives
  • Input to monthly safety and wellbeing reports for the executive team
  • Co-ordinate wellbeing issues with other managers and representatives as required
  • Represent the organisation at relevant external forums and use emerging practice to strengthen our approach
  • Set a positive personal example in role modelling positive behaviour in line with Our Code

This is an exciting time for the wellbeing programme and a great opportunity for the right person to get involved. We are currently undertaking a review of our global framework with an external partner, and the successful candidate will be involved in delivering the outcomes of this project including:

  • Translating the outcomes into key deliverables for the relevant communities across the business
  • Tracking actions, recommendations and implementation of Group and regional risk assessments and plans
  • Supporting integration of the wellbeing control risk register into existing business and risk management processes and support understanding of this resource across the business
  • Maintain relationships with wellbeing suppliers, including support for Employee Assistance Programme implementation and communications
  • Supporting leadership development and onboarding programmes with appropriate wellbeing content for different audiences
  • Supporting engagement and communication of positive leadership behaviours from the global framework that embed a strong safety and wellbeing culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
