Groups & Charters Specialist job in Guildford within luxury leisure travel, offering £36,000–£38,000 plus a 15% discretionary incentive. This is a relationship-led reservations role managing complex group and charter bookings, from initial enquiry and quotation through to final arrangements and travel.

Our Customer
Our client is an established luxury leisure travel business with a reputation for personal service and exceptional guest experiences. They work closely with travel agent partners and group organisers to deliver carefully planned holidays.
They are seeking a Groups & Charters Specialist to join their Guildford-based reservations team and take ownership of some of their most valuable and complex bookings.
The Role
In this role, you will manage group and charter bookings from the first enquiry through to final documentation and travel, acting as the main point of contact for partners throughout.
- Prepare detailed, accurate group and charter quotations
- Create and maintain bookings, individual reservations and guest records
- Manage allocations, availability, releases and booking amendments
- Draft and process charter agreements in line with agreed commercial terms
- Track deposits, payment schedules, guest names and final deadlines
- Raise and check invoices, payments and booking records, resolving discrepancies
- Coordinate flights, hotels, land arrangements and bespoke requirements with internal teams
- Keep travel agents, group organisers and charter partners informed at every stage
- Resolve issues calmly and escalate significant commercial or operational matters where needed
- Support the wider reservations team during busy periods

Experience Required
- Previous experience in hotel or travel reservations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence building relationships with clients and trade partners
- Exceptional attention to detail across bookings and financial records
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with payments and booking values
- Competence with Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems
- A positive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently and within a team
- English and Maths to GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent
- Group travel, charter or luxury travel experience is desirable
- Experience with reservations systems, airline systems or Salesforce is desirable
