Groups Events Executive
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Groups Events Executive at each of the following hotels:
- London Marriott Hotel Regents Park
- London Marriott Hotel Kensington
- London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale
Are you passionate about hospitality, events and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for a Groups Events Executive to join either of our three London Marriott hotels’ Event Sales team.
As a Groups Events Executive, you will manage event and group enquiries from the initial enquiry through to booking confirmation and handover to the hotel operations team. You will work closely with customers and hotel departments to ensure every event runs smoothly, while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and encourage repeat business.
Please note these are three individual positions. This is not a Cluster or Multi-Property role. Each Groups Events Executive will be responsible for the Event Sales function of their individual hotel.

What will you be doing?
- Manage incoming event and group enquiries, converting opportunities into confirmed bookings.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service throughout the event planning process.
- Prepare event proposals, contracts and documentation, ensuring all details are accurate.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure a smooth handover and successful delivery of events.
- Welcome customers and attend key events, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Identify opportunities to upsell products and services, maximise revenue and generate repeat business.
- Manage bedroom blocks and meeting room availability for assigned groups.
- Conduct hotel show rounds and site inspections to help secure new business.
- Work closely with the Banqueting Operations and Kitchen teams on menus, food and beverage offerings, room layouts and event requirements.
- Maintain accurate bookings and records using hotel systems and follow Marriott brand standards.
- Gather customer feedback, resolve queries and support continuous improvements to the guest experience.
- Keep up to date with local market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.

Ideally, You Will Have
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or event management, preferably within a hotel environment.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A commercial mindset, with the confidence to upsell and identify revenue opportunities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with hotel booking or event management systems would be an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by the business.
