Company Description
We’re looking for a wedding-savvy, target-smashing Groups & Events Executive to create unforgettable moments at The Hoxton, Edinburgh.
Reporting to the Groups & Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing our wedding and social event market, converting enquiries to drive events revenue into The Hoxton, Edinburgh.
We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End - our very first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we’re home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible and super-size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment – our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.
More about us…
The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Work solo and with the team to smash targets, spot opportunities, tackle challenges, and help our revenue glow-up.
- Use your insider Hoxton know-how to win hearts (and bookings) while keeping the team up to speed.

- Cross-sell all global Hoxton and Ennismore properties, where applicable, to maximise revenue opportunities across corporate segments.
- And yes, there’s a little admin… ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly administration is completed accurately and that all groups have necessary documentation on file. But let’s face it, we know you love that.
- Support the sales team in attending and assisting with in-house marketing activities, familiarisation trips, client hospitality evenings, presentations, show rounds and promotional activities as required.
