Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London's West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Inspired by the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel reflects a sense of British heritage and timeless style.
The hotel features 440 elegant guestrooms including 50 suites, along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces hosting a wide range of corporate events and social occasions. Dining experiences include seasonal British dishes and Afternoon Tea at The Montagu Kitchen and cocktails at the stylish Churchill Bar & Terrace.

Overview
As Groups & Events Manager - MICE, you will play a key role in driving the success of the hotel's meetings, events and group business. As Groups & Events Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, combine commercial acumen with exceptional client service to maximise revenue opportunities and deliver memorable client experiences.
Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams, you will contribute to the hotel's overall business strategy, supporting growth across corporate meetings, conferences, social events and group accommodation business.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Groups & Events Manager - MICE role
- Manage and convert group and event enquiries, delivering outstanding service throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Prepare proposals, contracts and event documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Oversee bookings, reporting and pipeline activity using Envision and other relevant systems.
- Monitor conversion performance, enquiry response times and sales activity to maximise results.
- Support forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning activities.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to event delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting while identifying opportunities to increase business levels.
- Represent Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill at trade shows, industry events, sales missions and networking functions focused on MICE markets.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and presentations, both virtually and in person.
- Promote Hyatt's values and service culture, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
About You
You are a proactive and commercially focused hospitality professional with experience in Groups & Events, Meetings & Events, or reactive sales within a hotel environment. You are skilled at building relationships, delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business performance.
A confident communicator and natural leader, you thrive when managing multiple priorities and supporting a team to achieve outstanding results. You combine strong organisational skills with commercial awareness and are motivated by converting opportunities into successful business outcomes.
