Responsibilities

Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Manage enquiries for leisure groups, tours, social, and any other groups as required.
  • Understand the host’s needs, recommend suitable spaces and packages, and provide timely, persuasive proposals and show rounds.
  • Follow up qualified enquiries consistently and maintain accurate pipeline, conversion, forecast, and lost-business records.
  • Qualify requirements, prepare commercially appropriate proposals, and conduct timely follow up to secure conversion.
  • Maximise event value through menus, beverages, bedrooms, room upgrades, entertainment, décor, golf, spa/leisure, and other relevant enhancements.
  • Apply approved pricing, minimum spends, terms, and space controls, and escalate non-standard requests appropriately.
  • Issue contracts, collect deposits, and obtain final details, rooming list, menus, and event billing within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare accurate function information and coordinate a structured operational handover to all relevant departments.
  • Track pick up, spend, wash, cancellations, and lost business reasons to maintain accurate CRM and event system records.
  • Attend selected client appointments and significant events, supporting service recovery and relationship management where needed.
  • Complete post-event follow-up to obtain feedback, referrals, future dates, and opportunities across the client’s wider network.
  • Maintain current competitor and local-market knowledge and contribute ideas for new events, packages, and underused spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
