Growing Younger Advisor Roles
The Growing Younger Team is newly established in Salisbury Diocese, funded nationally, to develop a vision and strategy that will address and reverse the overall decline of the younger generations (0-50s) across the diocese. These are new roles within the Diocese of Salisbury, offering an exciting opportunity to deliver our bold commitment to make Jesus known in every place so that all may flourish and grow.
About The Candidate
As Growing Younger Advisor, you will help to embed a culture of intergenerational mission and discipleship across the Diocese, ensuring that a growing number of our younger generations encounter the love of God in Christ and live out their faith with confidence.
You will encourage, support and resource parishes in contextually appropriate ways to grow and develop sustainable ministry with either children, families and young people or young people and young adults, depending on the role you wish to apply for.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
