You'll combine account management with consultative sales, using customer data and regular conversations to uncover opportunities, increase product adoption and grow revenue.
It's a strong opportunity for someone with B2B sales or account management experience who enjoys building relationships while still being motivated by targets and commercial results.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing business customers
- Analyse customer accounts to identify opportunities for additional products and services
- Hold regular discovery conversations and check-ins with customers
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key contacts
- Increase adoption of relevant products and features across your accounts
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and deepen customer relationships
- Clearly communicate product benefits and value propositions
- Understand the competitive landscape and confidently position solutions against alternatives
- Manage pricing conversations and negotiate commercial agreements
- Maintain an organised pipeline of account growth opportunities
- Work towards and exceed individual sales and revenue targets
- Use customer and account data to identify opportunities that may otherwise be missed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
