About Baller League

Small-sided football is the world's biggest game. Baller League is here to define it. Founded in 2024, Baller League was built by football fanatics who saw an opportunity to create something different: a new pathway for talent, a new stage for the game, and a new home for football culture.

Our professional 6v6 leagues unite elite players, creators and fans in a football ecosystem that turns every matchday into a cultural moment. We're not following the playbook. We're writing it. We are building a movement that makes football more accessible, more engaging and more connected than ever before - democratising and defining a new era for the world's game.

About the Role

The Growth & Engagement Manager owns the full growth engine for Baller League - from paid media and performance marketing through to PR, cultural strategy and ticket sales. This is a full-funnel role: you'll set the paid and earned media strategy, build the relationships that turn moments into stories, and connect every channel back to tickets sold and an owned, growing fan database. You'll work closely with paid social, PR, creative and partnerships teams (in-house and agency) to make sure every pound spent and every story told drives measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own advertising and performance marketing - Set and run the paid strategy across paid social, search, programmatic and display: targeting, creative testing, budget allocation, channel mix. Know the numbers well enough to catch a bad agency call and move spend fast. Set the audience roadmap and the KPIs that matter, then use the data to call the shots week over week.
  • Lead PR and cultural strategy - Build proactive press relationships and turn moments into stories across sports, entertainment and business media. Own press releases, media materials and campaign narratives, and know how to spot the stories that generate earned coverage and commercial opportunities.
  • Manage the agency and partner ecosystem - Own the relationships with PR, media and creative agencies, negotiate the deals and hold every partner to real, measurable delivery.
  • Brand storyteller - Stay ahead of what's trending in creators, sport and internet culture, and build genuine relationships with media, artists, tastemakers and talent that create value way beyond a single post or matchday appearance.
  • Drive ticket sales - Own the full-funnel plan turning awareness into purchases, syncing paid, social, CRM, PR and partnerships.
  • Build the first-party data flywheel - Capture fans at every touchpoint and turn one-time viewers into an owned, growing audience.
  • Turn the broadcast into a growth engine - Build the mechanics that make live streams drive tickets, database growth and revenue, not just eyeballs.
  • Report on what matters - Build sharp reporting that drives decisions, with weekly readouts that actually move the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
