Miruns is building the world's most accessible brain-sensing wearable

AI-powered EEG earbuds that measure cognitive fatigue directly from your brainwaves — not proxies like heart rate or eye tracking.

We're a small, technically deep team led by a founder with a proven track record in low-cost neurotech (creator of PiEEG, an open-source brain-computer interface used by researchers and makers worldwide, funded at 5× its goal on Crowd Supply). We have the engineering. We have the product. What we're missing is the person who turns it into a movement.

The honest part first

We're pre-funding. This is a co-founder role, equity-based, not a salaried position. If you need a paycheck right now, this isn't for you yet. If you want real ownership of a company at the moment it's decided whether it succeeds — read on.

What you'll own

You are responsible for making our Indiegogo launch succeed and building the company's growth engine from zero. Specifically:

  • Own the entire crowdfunding campaign — strategy, positioning, pricing, page, launch sequence, and hitting the funding goal.
  • Build our pre-launch audience from scratch, organically, with no ad budget. Turn our founder's existing neurotech community and press relationships into a warm list ready to convert on day one.
  • Direct the content engine: our engineers produce demos, technical explainers, and prototype footage — you shape it into content that builds an audience and drives reservations.
  • Run community and PR outreach: Reddit, Hacker News, LinkedIn, YouTube, and neurotech/maker press.
  • Own the numbers: reservations, conversion, backer acquisition, and course-correcting once real data comes in.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who you are

  • You've done this before — ideally you've run or been core to a successful crowdfunding campaign, a hardware launch, or a 0→1 community build.
  • You know that crowdfunding is won before launch, not during, and you have the discipline to build the list first.
  • You can do a lot with no money. Scrappy, organic, and creative is your default, not your fallback.
  • You're comfortable with technical products and technical audiences — you don't need us to dumb it down, and you won't dumb it down for them either.
  • You want ownership and are motivated by building something real, not by a title alone.
