Want to get your first hands-on experience working with a startup?
Scrolla is looking for a curious and proactive Growth & Community Volunteer to work directly with the founder and help us grow our platform, community and presence.
About Scrolla
Scrolla is a growing digital platform built to make discovering and engaging with content more intuitive, personalised and enjoyable. We're building Scrolla around how people actually discover, explore and interact with content today — bringing together product, community and digital culture to create an experience people genuinely want to keep coming back to.
We're still early in our journey, which means there's a real opportunity to contribute ideas, experiment, learn and help shape how Scrolla grows.
What you'll get involved in
Depending on your interests and strengths, you may support:
• Growth — researching new audiences, trends, growth opportunities and potential experiments
• Community — helping us engage with and better understand the people we're building Scrolla for
• Content — researching ideas, supporting our content calendar, repurposing content and helping us understand what performs well

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
• Business Development & Partnerships — researching potential partners, brands, organisations and opportunities that could help Scrolla grow
• Product — gathering user feedback, researching competitors and helping organise insights that could improve the Scrolla experience
You'll work closely with Scrolla's founder, giving you visibility into how decisions are made and how an early-stage startup develops.
Who we're looking for
You do not need 2–3+ years of experience.
In fact, you don't need previous professional experience at all.
We're much more interested in someone who is:
• Curious and willing to learn
• Reliable and able to follow through
• Comfortable sharing ideas
• Organised and digitally confident
• Interested in startups, community, content, technology, marketing or entrepreneurship
• Able to work independently when given a clear objective
You could be a student, recent graduate, career starter or simply someone looking for their first opportunity to gain practical startup experience.
If you've run a social account, helped with a university society, organised an event, created content, worked on a personal project or tried building something yourself, we'd love to hear about it — but none of this is required.
What you'll gain
This is an opportunity to get genuine exposure to what goes into building an early-stage startup.

Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
You'll gain hands-on experience across areas such as:
• Startup growth
• Community building
• Content strategy
• Partnerships and business development
• Product thinking
• User research
• Working directly with a founder
You'll be able to contribute ideas and build experience you can speak about in future applications, interviews and your portfolio. And importantly, we don't expect you to arrive knowing everything. We'll provide guidance and feedback throughout the opportunity. What matters most is that you're willing to learn, contribute and take initiative.
A note on the role
This is currently a voluntary opportunity, not a paid employment position.
We're intentionally keeping the commitment flexible and manageable alongside university, work or other responsibilities. As Scrolla grows, paid opportunities may become available, but there is no guarantee of future employment.

-
Why does Scrolla interest you?

If you joined Scrolla tomorrow, what's one thing you'd want to try to help us grow?
-
Which area interests you most — growth, community, content, partnerships or product — and why?
We're not looking for the person with the longest CV.
We're looking for someone with potential who wants an opportunity to use it.
