Growth Consultant – Agency Partnerships & Events
Salary: £35-40k plus commission
Are you a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meeting people, creating opportunities and delivering an excellent client experience?
We’re recruiting for an established marketing and events business that connects ambitious agencies and technology partners with senior brand decision-makers through carefully curated meetings and industry events.
This is a varied, people-focused role combining business development, account management, partnerships and events. You’ll introduce agencies to the proposition, guide them through the complete experience and build relationships that lead to repeat bookings and long-term growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Researching and approaching prospective agency and martech partners.
- Generating new business through LinkedIn, email, networking, referrals and inbound enquiries.
- Holding consultative conversations to understand each agency’s proposition and growth ambitions.
- Managing opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and close.
- Building trusted relationships with agency founders and senior decision-makers.
- Onboarding partners and helping them prepare for upcoming events.
- Ensuring every agency receives an outstanding experience before, during and after each event.
- Encouraging repeat bookings and identifying additional commercial opportunities.
- Representing the business at relevant industry events.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline, activity and forecasting information within the CRM.
- Collaborating closely with the Growth, Marketing and Brand Relations teams.

What we’re looking for
You may currently be working as a Business Development Executive, Partnerships Executive, Account Executive, Events Sales Executive or Junior Account Manager and be ready for your next step.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Some experience in business development, sales, partnerships, account management or client acquisition.
- A genuine interest in marketing, agencies, martech or events.
- Confidence approaching new people and building rapport quickly.
- A consultative, relationship-led approach.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage several clients and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to generate your own opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in working towards commercial targets.
- Experience using a CRM would be useful.

Direct agency experience would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in people from events, media, recruitment, hospitality, professional services or other relationship-led commercial environments.
