MMM Expert Consultant
London | £50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits
4 days per week onsite
As part of the continued growth of our Client’s specialist analytics and consultancy team, they are looking for 2x MMM Expert Consultants to join an established function helping major consumer brands make smarter marketing investment decisions.
These are genuinely hands-on modelling roles, working with large and highly detailed retail and marketing datasets to understand what drives sales performance and where marketing investment can have the greatest impact.
The work combines Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), econometrics, commercial understanding and strategic analytics, giving you the opportunity to get deep into the data while also translating complex analysis into recommendations that influence real business decisions.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MMM practitioner who enjoys building models, interrogating data and solving complex commercial problems – and who wants to continue developing as a hands-on modelling specialist.
The Opportunity
- Build and develop Marketing Mix Models for a major international retail client.
- Work with unusually rich and granular retail, media and marketing datasets across multiple international markets.
- Analyse the impact of media investment, pricing, promotions, seasonality and wider external factors on sales performance.
- Work on highly granular modelling, including store-level data across a large retail estate.
- Partner directly with experienced senior modelling and strategy specialists.
- Turn sophisticated econometric analysis into clear recommendations that influence marketing investment decisions.
- Broaden your experience across wider analytical projects, including portfolio, channel and market investment decisions.
- Contribute to the development of new analytical tools, modelling approaches and emerging uses of AI within analytics.
Responsibilities
Marketing Mix Modelling & Econometrics
- Design, build and run Marketing Mix Models and wider econometric models.
- Measure and forecast the impact of media, pricing, promotions, seasonality and external market factors on retail sales performance.
- Develop and refine model variables using econometric principles and commercial understanding.
- Apply regression analysis, model diagnostics, variable selection and multicollinearity management.
- Test different hypotheses and modelling approaches to understand the true drivers of commercial performance.
- Critically evaluate model outputs rather than accepting results at face value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
