Aberdeen | 12 weeks | 3 places available
MicroInterns is delivering Micro-Pathways to Employment, a 12-week employability programme in Aberdeen, supported by Aberdeen City Council and the Scottish Government. The programme helps people build confidence, develop skills and find pathways towards employment. We’re looking for three creative students to help us tell that story.
What you’ll do
- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Reels and short-form video
- Capture real moments, people and stories from the programme
- Talk to participants and speakers and turn their experiences into engaging stories
- Showcase participant progress, outcomes and programme impact
- Bring your own ideas - we want you to create, not just follow instructions
You don’t need to be a marketing expert. If you’re good at communicating, storytelling, creating or connecting with people, we’d love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Students who demonstrate strong performance will move forward for the remainder of the 12-week programme on a paid project, with the scope and fee agreed before the paid work begins.
