About the Role
Our agency partner is an ambitious, fast-growing digital agency helping leading brands accelerate growth through data-driven marketing, media and digital strategy.
They're looking for a commercially driven Growth Director to lead new business generation and play a pivotal role in the agency's next phase of growth.
This is a highly external-facing role where your focus will be on building meaningful relationships, opening doors with prospective clients and creating a consistent pipeline of high-quality new business opportunities. You'll spend much of your time out of the office networking, attending industry events, meeting senior decision-makers and representing the agency within the wider marketing and digital community.
Working closely with the wider commercial and client leadership teams, you'll take opportunities from first conversation through to signed business, helping shape commercial strategy while becoming a trusted advisor to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
New Business & Relationship Building
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of net-new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with senior marketing, eCommerce, digital and commercial leaders across target organisations.
- Proactively identify and open new accounts through networking, referrals, events and direct outreach.
- Reactivate dormant relationships and identify new commercial opportunities within your network.
- Represent the agency at conferences, industry events, networking groups and client functions.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
