What sets us apart is our combination of deep industry expertise and practical consulting experience. We don't believe in producing reports that sit on shelves—we work alongside our clients to deliver meaningful outcomes, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

We're proud to have been recognised as one of the UK's Leading Management Consultancies by the Financial Times, featured in The Sunday Times Hundred as one of the UK's fastest-growing private companies and recognised as a Great Place to Work.

Our ambition is simple: deliver exceptional work for our clients, create a brilliant place for our people to build their careers, and continue growing sustainably without losing the culture that makes BFY different.

About the Role

As part of BFY's Growth Operations team, you'll support the firm's growth ambitions by helping client teams identify opportunities, develop relationships and produce high-quality proposals. Working closely with the Senior Go to Market Manager, Client Leads and consultants, you'll make it easier for our people to win work.

This is a varied role combining growth enablement, business development support, knowledge management and continuous improvement. You'll help ensure our team have the insight, tools, content and support they need to engage clients effectively, improve opportunity identification, win rates and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

What success looks like?

Your primary purpose is to help our client teams build stronger relationships and create more opportunities by providing the insight, tools, content and support that enable them to deliver consistently high-quality client engagement.

If you're successful, our teams will spend more time with clients, pursue opportunities more effectively and continue building trusted client relationships because of the capability and support you've put in place.

Top Priorities:

  • Enable Client Growth: by supporting the identification of opportunities through research, market insight, campaigns and business development activity that help our teams engage clients more effectively.
  • Enable Winning Work: through supporting high-quality proposal development, client insight and pursuit support that help our teams respond confidently and consistently to client opportunities.
  • Strengthen Commercial Capability: by developing reusable knowledge, practical tools and AI-enabled ways of working that improve productivity and help the firm continually strengthen its approach to client growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What do our people say about working here?

Tom Deen, Consultant, joined BFY December 2023.

BFY really focuses on the employees and understand that the majority of the job is learned whilst working for clients. They teach you the essentials of the business and provide learning material to start your consultancy journey to ensure everyone has the same initial level and then you start consultancy work within a week or two. It's really incredible to see the level of trust they place in you to allow you to work with clients so early on, rather than have you sat watching from the sidelines.

Kev Brown, Senior Manager, joined BFY September 2022

When you join a new company, it can be daunting, am I good enough? Will I be able to do it? Imposter syndrome can be a real worry, joining BFY is a genuinely awesome experience. Through the process you get to speak to everyone on the team and what is amazing is how open and readily available to help EVERYONE is! The culture here is fantastic and you get to make your own decisions within an incredibly supportive framework.
