Growth Engineer - SEO, SEM & AI Search

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth Engineer - SEO, SEM & AI Search based in United Kingdom.

This is a hands-on growth role focused on generating qualified B2B leads and measurable revenue through search and AI-driven discovery channels.

You will own the full growth motion across SEO, SEM, Generative Engine Optimization, and Generative Engine Marketing.

The role combines strategic thinking with direct execution, from identifying high-intent opportunities to launching campaigns and optimizing content and landing pages.

You will help strengthen visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery experiences.

Success will be measured by business outcomes such as qualified leads, pipeline, attribution, and revenue rather than traffic alone.

You will work closely with leadership in a fast-moving, experimentation-driven environment where you are expected to identify opportunities and implement solutions independently.

The initial engagement is structured as a three-month project, with the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated growth strategy spanning SEO, SEM, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Generative Engine Marketing (GEM).
  • Increase visibility across Google and emerging AI-driven search and discovery platforms.
  • Identify high-intent search opportunities relevant to buyers of cloud, AI, data, FinOps, and technology consulting services.
  • Own keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitive research, and identification of content and search-growth opportunities.
  • Execute on-page SEO initiatives and identify and resolve technical SEO issues that impact organic performance.
  • Build, manage, test, and optimize paid search campaigns, particularly Google Ads.
  • Optimize existing content and develop recommendations for new landing pages and search-focused content designed to drive qualified demand.
  • Improve visibility, relevance, and citation potential across generative AI search experiences.
  • Run continuous experiments across messaging, keywords, landing pages, campaigns, and acquisition channels.
  • Build and maintain measurement and attribution across the full funnel, connecting search activity to leads, opportunities, and revenue.
  • Monitor campaign and organic performance and make hands-on adjustments based on data and business results.
  • Partner directly with leadership to identify growth priorities, evaluate opportunities, and translate insights into execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
