Company Description

Magpie AI is an applied AI company building a personal executive assistant for everyone.

We’re bringing the kind of support traditionally reserved for CEOs and executives into everyone’s pocket: an assistant that remembers what matters, keeps track of open loops, monitors things on your behalf and helps plan, organise, research, chase and get things done across everyday life.

This is an ambitious consumer AI bet. We have the product and technical side covered. Now we’re looking for someone equally obsessed with getting them into the hands of users.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Growth / GTM / Marketing Co-Founder to own how Magpie goes from early product to consumer brand used by millions.

You’ll work closely with the product and technical founders across positioning, distribution, acquisition, activation and retention.

This is not a traditional “Head of Marketing” role. We want someone who sees a good product and immediately asks:

  • How do we get our first users and build a waitlist quickly?

You’ll experiment across:

  • Growth hacking and unconventional distribution
  • Brand, positioning and messaging
  • Content creation and social media
  • Creator and influencer partnerships
  • CRM, lifecycle and email marketing
  • Launches, referral loops and community
  • Product-led growth and activation
  • Performance marketing
  • Partnerships and earned distribution
  • AI-native marketing and creative tools

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll also help us understand which users love the products most, why they love them, and how we turn those insights into repeatable growth engines.

For Magpie specifically, you’ll be helping us compete in what is quickly becoming one of the most fascinating and competitive categories in technology: personal AI assistants.

What We’re Looking For

  • Exceptional consumer taste and a strong instinct for what people will care about
  • Deep curiosity about consumer behaviour, distribution and why products spread
  • Strong understanding of growth funnels, experimentation, activation, retention and performance metrics
  • Ability to turn product ideas into clear, compelling stories
  • Hands-on experience with content, social, CRM/lifecycle, creator marketing or other consumer growth channels
  • Comfortable with performance marketing fundamentals, even if it isn’t your core speciality
  • Obsessed with experimenting, learning quickly and finding unconventional ways to reach users
  • Excited about using the latest AI tools for research, marketing, content and asset creation
  • Comfortable operating with very little structure and owning problems end-to-end
  • Genuine interest in AI and the future of consumer software
  • Startup experience is useful, but evidence that you can make things happen matters more than pedigree

You do not need to be world-class at every channel. We care much more about range, taste, energy and the instinct to keep asking what will actually move the needle.

Stage & Compensation

We’re currently bootstrapped and in the building / validation stage.

This is therefore an equity-only co-founder role initially, rather than a salaried position, with meaningful ownership in the business.

It can start part-time alongside your current role or other commitments and grow as the company does.

Ideally you’re London-based and excited to work together in person several times a week. Especially at the beginning, we’re flexible around schedules: mornings, evenings, nights or weekends can all work.

The ambition is not small.

We want someone who wants to help answer one question:

  • How do we get this into the hands of millions of people?*
