The Role
You will ensure that growth performance trends and activities are understood across the Customer & Commercial team, and generate new insight that informs commercial decisions and where to invest budget to achieve the best return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Insight & Analysis
- Generate commercial insight to drive well-informed customer and commercial growth decisions across the team, translating data into clear recommendations.
- Develop and maintain commercial and marketing performance reporting and initiatives tracking in partnership with the BI & Analytics team, ensuring reports answer the questions the business is asking.
- Analyse patient acquisition, retention, treatment uptake, and revenue trends to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across the practice estate.
- Support category performance analysis across Aligners, Implants, and Dental Plans, providing the insight that informs category strategies and investment decisions.
Reporting Accuracy & Continuous Improvement
- Continually improve the accuracy and relevance of commercial reporting and insight outputs, working with BI & Insight teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Own the integrity of key commercial dashboards and reports, proactively flagging when outputs do not look right and investigating root causes.
- Document data sources, definitions, and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability of insight across the team.
New Insight Development
- Develop new insight capabilities to support strategic decision-making and inform growth initiatives, identifying gaps in what we currently measure and proposing solutions.
- Navigate multiple data sources to get to answers quickly, developing proof-of-concept analyses and then working with the BI & Analytics team to build robust, operationalised outputs.
- Build and iterate analysis tools, models, and dashboards in Power BI and Excel that enable the commercial team to self-serve on routine performance questions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Customer & Commercial Director, Category Managers, and the wider Marketing and Growth team to anticipate insight needs and proactively deliver analysis and tracking that supports live commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with BI & Analytics, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align on data sources, definitions, and reporting standards.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, communicating in the language of insight and commercial impact rather than raw data.

Analytical & Commercial Skills
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, able to anticipate business needs, identify what matters, and turn data into actionable insight.
- Naturally curious and detail-oriented, with the ability to challenge anomalies, ask the right questions, and dig beneath surface-level trends.
Problem Solving & Ways of Working
- Creative, resourceful, and solutions-focused, comfortable working with imperfect or multiple data sources.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work at pace, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify opportunities to add value.
Qualifications
We welcome your application to our Growth & Insight Analyst vacancy if you have the following qualifications and skills:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial analysis, insight, or business intelligence role within a consumer-facing or multi-site business.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
- Strong Excel skills, including data modelling, pivot tables, and complex formulae.
- Good understanding of PPC and digital performance.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate insight and reporting.
- Demonstrable ability to work across multiple data sources and synthesize findings into clear, commercially relevant outputs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insight to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar).
