About Ready

Ready is building a new category, Community Finance. We partner with communities, starting with esports organisations, and extending to creators, sports teams and other fan-led businesses, to launch co-branded payment products for their audiences.

The model is B2B2C. We win the community as a partner, then turn its audience into people who actually use the product.

We already have deals in place with teams in Brazil and the US, with communities of millions of fans.

We've raised $56m from Paradigm, Index Ventures and Creandum. We work remotely across Europe, prioritising autonomy and flexibility.

About the role

As we enter a brand new chapter at Ready, this is a rare chance to lead growth from the start. The role has two axes.

User growth within each community. Partners give us extraordinary distribution: millions of fans who trust them. Turning that reach into adoption is the core challenge. We don't yet know how repeatable acquisition, activation and spending will be from one community to the next. Working that out, and making each launch better than the last, is the job.

Ownership of the Ready brand. Our website, our social channels, and how we show up in the space. A strong brand makes fans quicker to trust the product, and new partner deals faster and cheaper to close.

This is early. The model isn't proven and the plan will change. If you want an existing playbook to optimise, this isn't it.

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As Growth Lead, you will get to:

  • Own the full funnel inside partner communities: user acquisition, activation, retention and monetisation.
  • Own the Ready brand, website and social channels.
  • Own the perks programme, designed and sourced with each community. Perks are central to why fans use the product at all.
  • Build the repeatable launch playbook, from pre-launch through the first ninety days.
  • Own lifecycle and CRM outcomes
  • Define what "working" means and measure it: event design, attribution, funnel and cohort analysis.
  • Run a real experiment cadence, and kill what isn't working.
  • Report to founders and work closely with product, design and partner teams.
  • Lead and build the growth team

Your experience should include:

  • Owned growth or lifecycle for a consumer app, ideally fintech, with results you can point to.
  • Deep enough in lifecycle and CRM to direct it and challenge it
  • AI-native. It's how you work, not a tool you've tried.
  • Analytical: comfortable defining events, building funnels and reading cohorts.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You've made calls on incomplete data in something unproven.
  • You know what it is to be a fan. You've cared deeply about a team, a sport or a community, and you understand what makes people care.
  • Experience running a rewards, perks, loyalty or partnerships programme is a plus

  • ๐Ÿ›ฉ Trips across Europe! For one week every quarter we meet in person as a company to explore new solutions and to have fun. So far we've stayed in Nice, Toulouse, Brussels, Lisbon and Barcelona.
