About Us

At Founders Pledge, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to do immense good with their charitable giving. Since launching in 2015, our community of over 2,200 members has pledged nearly $13.6B and donated $1.8B+ to the charitable sector in 45+ countries.

We provide end-to-end giving infrastructure, pioneering research, and access to a global network of experts. In other words, we help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. Our members include founders and leaders behind companies such as Airbnb, UiPath, Dropbox, Skype, Spotify, and Uber.

We focus on deploying capital where it can achieve the greatest impact, guided by evidence, careful analysis, and long-term thinking.

About the Role

As Growth Lead, you'll lead Founders Pledge's member growth across the UK and Europe. You'll invite founders and executives from the region's most exciting tech companies to pledge a meaningful portion of their future exit proceeds to charity. Reporting to our Director of Growth, you'll own several priority territories across the UK and Europe and be responsible for both the engagement strategy and its delivery.

You'll meet founders in many settings: one-to-one introductions from our members, referrals from ecosystem partners and events ranging from intimate dinners to major conferences. Your job is to help them move from intention to action and your work feeds directly into the team's annual target of $1.5B+ in new commitments.

You'll take on an established portfolio from day one, alongside newer markets where you'll shape how we continue to build momentum. Combined with our focus on high-impact philanthropy, few roles offer this much potential for positive impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Pitch Founders Pledge and close new members: You'll meet founders and investors virtually and in person, tell our story with confidence, and tailor it to what matters to them. Then you'll take it over the line: asking for a commitment, handling objections, and driving follow-up to secure a pledge. You'll own a pipeline and be accountable for converting it.
  • Own market strategy for your territories: You'll analyse founder communities in each market, decide where to focus and adapt your approach for established and early-stage markets.
  • Build and work your pipeline: You'll develop strong prospect lists, informed by the latest tech news across Europe, identify inroads and reach out in a way that's persuasive and authentic.
  • Grow ecosystem partnerships and referrals: You'll build relationships with VCs, accelerators and other ecosystem players and work with existing members to secure warm introductions.
  • Represent us at events: You'll speak at events and webinars, attend external tech and wealth events and support our own events to bring in new prospects.
  • Collaborate across teams: You'll work closely within the Member Experience team and broader cross-functional teams to coordinate growth across markets and deliver a seamless pledging experience for prospective members.
  • Track via our CRM: You'll make sure the CRM holds reliable, up-to-date data on members and prospects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

You're motivated by the chance to direct tech wealth towards the world's most pressing problems, and you want to inspire evidence-based approaches to philanthropy. You bring a sales mindset: you're driven by targets, you enjoy the chase and nothing beats the feeling of getting a yes. You have a track record in sales, fundraising or business development, and you build relationships with a purpose, turning first conversations into signed pledges. You have the confidence and autonomy to own a portfolio of markets end-to-end, from prospecting to close. You have high emotional intelligence, thrive in external-facing work, and balance persistence with empathy, following up when others would let it drop. You're comfortable working independently across territories within a small, fast-moving team, and you bring your own energy to keep the pipeline moving.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Peerage with mid-to-late stage founders: You might be a former founder or investor or you already have a strong entrepreneurial network in London or across Europe.
  • Significant sales experience with senior stakeholders: You have a background in business development, sales, strategic partnerships or major gifts fundraising and you can show how you've moved senior prospects from interest to commitment.
  • A track record of influencing founders and/or HNW individuals: You can show how you've tailored your approach to different people and built lasting, meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Presence and authority: You can command a room and build relationships at every scale, from 15-person dinners to large conferences and you're comfortable speaking on stage.
  • Executive collaboration & strategic leverage: You know how to work alongside executive leaders - knowing when and how to deploy senior stakeholders strategically to deepen relationships, open doors, and push key opportunities over the finish line.
  • Strategic ownership and project management: You've set and delivered a strategy for a market, portfolio or region with a high degree of autonomy, while juggling several projects at once.
  • Good judgement and communication: You write and speak clearly, adapt your style to your audience and know when to bring in colleagues across the organisation.
