You've ordered from Just Eat Takeaway. You've bought and sold on OLX. You've paid with PayU. That's Prosus, a leading global technology technology company, based in Europe, powering the world's leading lifestyle brands and connecting two billion people across India, Latin America, Europe and beyond. We own and invest in 100+ companies across food delivery, quick commerce, fintech and experiences, tied together by an AI-driven ecosystem that delivers seamless, personalised experiences at a scale few companies can match. We've built one of the world's largest agentic workforces. 60,000+ AI agents automating complex workflows and creating the equivalent of 1,000 full-time employees in organisational capacity. Our people don't just use AI. They design it, deploy it, and push what it can do. Through our Ventures business, we're backing the next frontier: AI and commerce, the digital AI workforce, and emerging technologies like robotics, drones and synthetic biology. This is your opportunity to shape the next wave of growth across Prosus's European consumer portfolio — from eMAG in Romania to Takealot in South Africa and Izyico in Turkey. As Growth Lead, Europe, you'll identify and unlock value creation opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and help our portfolio companies build sustainable competitive advantage. Based in Amsterdam or London, you'll report to the Head of European Ecosystem and partner directly with portfolio leadership teams to turn data into strategy and strategy into results. \n
Who You Are You're the person who walks into a business review and immediately spots the one number that doesn't add up — and the three levers that could change it. You think like an operator and a strategist in equal measure. You're as comfortable digging into a P&L as you are mapping a new market entry. Ambiguity doesn't paralyse you — it energises you. You default to action: you'd rather test a hypothesis and learn fast than wait for perfect information. Collaboration is how you work — you know the best insights come from listening to the people closest to the customer. And you're intellectually curious: the kind of person who asks "why" five times and still wants to know more.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring Strategic thinking: ability to connect macroeconomic trends, competitive dynamics, and company-level data into a coherent growth narrative. Commercial judgement: instinct for identifying what drives value in a business, backed by financial fluency and analytical rigour. M&A and business development experience: track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, partnerships, or strategic investments. Operational execution skills: experience running performance reviews, OKR cycles, and budget delivery across multi-country portfolios. Stakeholder management: comfort engaging with C-level portfolio leadership, internal teams, and external advisors with credibility and clarity. Communication skills: ability to synthesise complex information into crisp, persuasive recommendations for senior audiences.
Your Typical Day Lead monthly operational reviews for 2–3 portfolio companies — pressure-testing performance data, identifying risks, and surfacing the 2–3 things that actually matter. Partner with the Head of European Ecosystem to shape board materials, investment memos, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. Work directly with portfolio CFOs and COOs to track budgets, uncover growth opportunities, and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks. Support M&A pipelines — evaluating potential acquisitions, building financial models, and developing integration theses. Drive a strategic initiative end to end, coordinating cross-functional teams and pushing through roadblocks to get to a decision quickly.
