Growth Lead (Subscriptions)
Location: London – four days per week in the office
Salary: £60,000–£80,000 + bonus
Lime Talent is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods business looking to appoint a Growth Lead focused on retention and subscriptions. This is a newly created, commercially focused role responsible for growing the company’s subscription customer base and recurring revenue.
The business sells its products through both direct-to-consumer and retail channels. A key focus of this role will be developing ways to identify and engage customers who purchase through retail, bring them into the brand’s ecosystem and convert them into long-term subscribers.
This role sits at the intersection of growth, subscriptions, customer experience, and retention. It would suit someone who enjoys understanding customer behavior, testing new ideas, and finding commercially effective ways to turn an initial purchase into a valuable long-term relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the subscription growth strategy across direct-to-consumer and retail customers.
- Create compelling reasons for retail customers to register their purchase and share their contact details.
- Build post-purchase journeys that introduce customers to the subscription offering and encourage conversion.
- Identify and remove barriers within the registration, onboarding, and subscription journeys.
- Develop propositions, incentives, and campaigns that increase subscription uptake.
- Analyse customer behavior to understand what drives registration, conversion, repeat purchases, and churn.
- Build a structured test-and-learn programme across messaging, offers, channels, and customer journeys.
- Work closely with e-commerce, CRM, retail, product, and marketing teams to deliver growth initiatives.
- Ensure new product launches are incorporated into the subscription and recurring-revenue strategy.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value and strengthen long-term loyalty.
- Report on performance and present commercially focused recommendations to senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
