Growth Lead at Serac
We're looking for someone to own growth at Serac and make us the name everyone in proptech knows.
About Us
Getting a building approved, designed and built in the UK takes too long and costs too much. We are replacing PDFs, email chains and manual checks with data and AI.
We started with planning. Since 2020 we have gone from a bootstrapped lead gen app to a suite of products used across the property world. IBex powers most of UK conveyancing with planning data. Planda uses AI to predict planning outcomes. Planda Portal launched in 2026 and went national in months. We are now building much more across the built environment.
We are a team of more than 50, based in Mornington Crescent, London, moving fast, and hiring our first Growth Lead. We work hybrid, but we love having everyone in the office. It's easier to collaborate and make decisions fast.
The Role
People love our products once they find them. Most of our growth so far has come from users discovering us and telling others... We need you to make that deliberate.
You will own growth at Serac. You decide what we focus on, make it happen and measure it, with an engaged team around you. There is a clear path to Head of Growth and building your own team. You will report to our Chief of Staff and work closely with our CEO and Head of Product.

What You'll Do
- Build presence for Serac and each of our products on LinkedIn, newsletters, podcasts, events and communities
- Own product launches from the moment they are scoped. A feature isn't finished until people know about it
- Run experiments across email, LinkedIn, webinars, partnerships and paid channels, then double down on what works
- Build journeys that turn new signups into active users
- Set clear targets for awareness and pipeline, and report on them
- Work with sales, account management and product to turn attention into signups and revenue
- Become a known voice in proptech, and help our team become one too
What We're Looking For
- You want to be known in your industry, and you see this role as a chance to make that happen
- You are proactive. You don't wait for a brief, you turn up with ideas and ship them
- You measure yourself on outcomes: reach, signups, pipeline
- You write fast and well, with a voice people recognise
- You are comfortable with numbers and can tell what is working from the data
- You use AI tools to move faster than a team twice your size
- You have grown an audience before: your own, a newsletter, a side project or a community
- Experience with email, CRM and paid media is useful, or you pick tools up fast
- You don't have to be brilliant at all of this yet, as long as you want to be.
