Malka London | London | 3-Month Internship

Malka is looking for a curious, commercially-minded Marketing & E-Commerce Intern to help us turn attention into sales.

About Malka

Malka is a fashion and lifestyle brand built around The Crown — a satin-lined turban designed to make women feel protected, put-together, and confident.

We’re at an exciting stage of growth. We have a strong brand, a growing community, and women discovering Malka every day. Now, we want to get better at understanding what makes someone go from “I love this” to “I’m buying this.”

That’s where you come in.

What you’ll be working on

You’ll work closely with the founder to help develop the commercial side of Malka’s marketing, including:

  • Looking at our website and customer journey to identify opportunities to improve conversion
  • Helping create and test landing pages, offers, and campaigns
  • Analysing website, email, and campaign performance
  • Supporting email marketing and customer segmentation
  • Researching acquisition opportunities and new ways to bring qualified customers to Malka
  • Tracking what works, what doesn’t, and why
  • Turning customer behaviour and data into practical marketing ideas
  • Helping us build simple reports and learn from each campaign

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across e-commerce, growth marketing, customer behaviour, and digital marketing rather than focusing on just one channel.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything about marketing.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Curious about why people click, buy — and sometimes don’t
  • Commercially minded and interested in how brands make money
  • Comfortable looking at numbers and spotting patterns
  • Interested in e-commerce and customer behaviour
  • Proactive and willing to test ideas rather than waiting for perfect answers
  • A good communicator who can explain what they’re seeing and why it matters
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Excited by the idea of working inside a small, ambitious fashion brand

You do not need to be a social media expert. Social media and creative direction are already a big part of what we do at Malka. This role is about helping us build the bridge between attention and conversion.

What you’ll get

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with the founder and see how a growing independent brand actually operates.

You’ll get exposure to:

  • E-commerce
  • Growth Marketing
  • Conversion
  • Email Marketing
  • Customer Research
  • Analytics
  • Campaigns
  • Brand Strategy

You’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas, test them, and learn from the results. And because we’re a small business, your work won’t disappear into a big marketing department — you’ll see the direct impact of what you do.

The practical stuff

  • Role: Growth Marketing & E-Commerce Intern
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Location: London
  • Working arrangement: Hybrid — you must be available to work in person in London 2–3 days per week
  • Compensation: Unpaid internship
  • Start date: As soon as possible

If you’re interested, send us your CV and a short note telling us why Malka interests you and what you would be excited to help us improve.

We’re much more interested in your curiosity and way of thinking than in a perfect CV.
