About Waye

Waye is a marketing consultancy that works exclusively with ecommerce agencies and SaaS companies. We do the work most marketing teams talk about but never get round to: research-led campaigns, industry surveys, hosted events, content that people actually read, and outbound that doesn't make anyone cringe.

We're a small, fully remote team. No office, no commute, no pretending to look busy on a Tuesday afternoon. You'll work directly with the founder and the rest of the marketing team on real campaigns for real clients from day one.

The role

This is an outbound and paid social role. You'll spend most of your time on three things:

Outbound: Building prospect lists, writing cold emails and LinkedIn messages that sound like a human wrote them, and running sequences through tools like Apollo. You'll be filling events, driving survey responses, and starting conversations that turn into pipeline for our clients.

LinkedIn Outreach: Connection requests, DMs, engagement, and the slow, unglamorous work of building genuine relationships in a niche. Our clients sell to specific, findable audiences. Your job is to find them and get them talking.

LinkedIn Paid Ads: Planning, building and optimising campaigns in Campaign Manager. Lead gen forms, event promotion, retargeting, audience building. You'll write the copy, watch the numbers, and know when to kill a creative that isn't working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The campaigns themselves are the good bit. You'll be filling paid masterclasses and lunch events, driving responses to industry research surveys, promoting reports, and helping build communities around our clients' brands. It's varied, it moves quickly, and you'll see the results of your work in actual attendees, actual responses and actual revenue rather than a dashboard nobody looks at.

What you'll actually do

  • Build and clean prospect lists in Apollo (or similar) against a defined ICP
  • Write and run cold email and LinkedIn outreach sequences
  • Manage LinkedIn ad campaigns end to end: audiences, creative, copy, budgets, reporting
  • Fill events: webinars, in-person masterclasses, dinners and roundtables
  • Drive responses to research surveys and report downloads
  • Personalise follow-ups based on event recordings and conversations
  • Report on what worked, what didn't, and what to do differently

What we're looking for

  • 2 to 4 years in a B2B marketing, demand gen or SDR-adjacent role
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager. You've built and run campaigns yourself, not watched someone else do it
  • Experience running outbound: cold email, LinkedIn outreach, or both
  • Familiarity with at least one outbound tool (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, lemlist, Smartlead or similar)
  • Writing that's clear and sounds human. Most cold outreach is terrible. Yours shouldn't be
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time
  • Curiosity about ecommerce and SaaS. You don't need deep sector knowledge, but you'll pick it up fast
  • Nice to have, not required: experience at an agency, experience with events, any exposure to AI tools in a marketing workflow. We use them a lot and we'll teach you.
